Welcome to Strategy Guide Wiki, a community-based site where anyone is free to view, create, and edit game strategy guides. At SGW, there is only one guide for each game/system. Unlike most wikis, there is almost no markup language and all submissions must be approved by administrators before being posted.
Strategy Guide Composition
Guides are made up of sections that can have the following elements:
Text
- Text areas grow as you type. If you enter the name of another section in the same guide, a link to that section is generated automatically. Links also get generated retroactively to newly created sections.
Images
- Upload screenshots up to 600x600 pixels in PNG, JPG, or GIF format. A caption can also accompany the image.
Tables
- Create tables with as many as 10 columns and 50 rows. All table editing functions work instantaneously and without server interaction.
Location Maps
- Upload an image and simply click on it to add up to 50 locations. Made a mistake? Remove the offending location and everything renumbers automatically.
Getting Started
Just follow the navigation links at the top to get started or search for the game you're looking for in the upper right. To add a new game/system, click the Add Game link on any of the game listings. Once inside your guide of choice, use the Add New Section and Edit This Section links to contribute. For more details, check out the FAQ.
