More War & Battle Tips
As you play the game, you will find cities generate culture. Culture is the amount of awe your civilization generates. It is generated by Temples, Cathedrals, Colosseums, Palaces, Libraries, Universities and Wonders. Each will give you a certain amount of culture per turn, which will add up to form your total culture rating. Culture is pretty vital, as your cities will expand their boundaries after they reach certain limits, and as a result, will have your empire cover more area.
Culture is a form of victory too. If any of your cities gets a culture rating above 20,000, you win the game. Likewise, if your entire empire gets a rating above 100,000, you win the game.
Culture can help you expand your empire. If you have a settlement next to a settlement of another race, a high culture rating my have that nearby city turn to your nation. This is extremely useful if you wish to gain a ground on another shore without waging war.
